The subsoil of Morocco is marked by a wealth mineral resources (phosphate, lead, zinc, coal and others). For this reason, the mining sector still considered one main pillars national economy. Moroccan lead deposits are located mainly in Atlas region Eastern region. Zellidja smelter company has succeeded distinguishing itself being among best smelters Morocco. It known nationally internationally for its production soft antimonial oxide, fine silver, copper matte triple alloy concentrate. majority destined international markets such as Europe, North Africa, Near East Middle East. In addition, it also recognized large capacity processing concentrate from several mines. This obviously increased decreased over time, depending on number mines exploited, presence or absence ore, quality industrial equipment, employees other circumstances.
